Ancelotti says Neymar & Vinicius must be 100% fit for Brazil World Cup squad

Neymar Knee Injury

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Brazil’s national team, said that players like Neymar and Vinicius Junior need to be in perfect shape 100% fit to get selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup team. He wants only players who are fully healthy because there is a lot of competition in the attack. He made it clear that this rule is the same for both players. If Vinícius is only 90% fit, he could be left out in favor of someone who is fully fit.

Neymar’s Challenges

Neymar is 33 years old and has returned to Santos after playing in Saudi Arabia. He has had many injuries, including a serious knee injury (ACL rupture) and other recent knee problems. Because of this, he has scored only seven goals in 25 games this season. The coach, Ancelotti, has not included him in recent team selections, but Neymar can join the team if he fully recovers and plays well before the tournament.

Vinicius Junior’s Status on Playing

Vinícius has not played very well this season at Real Madrid. Because of this, Ancelotti warned about his form. However, if Vinícius gets back to his best shape, he will probably play again because he is very talented and has played for the national team before. Brazil has other attacking players like Joao Pedro and some others who can also play.
