Indian Grandmaster D Gukesh has once again defeated Magnus Carlsen, the World No. 1, in the Grand Chess Tour SuperUnited Rapid tournament going in Zagreb. This victory marks Gukesh’s fifth consecutive win over Carlsen, further lifting questions about Carlsen’s dominance in the chess world. Gukesh’s win came in the sixth round of the rapid section, where he played with the black pieces and outplayed Carlsen, who had earlier minimized Gukesh’s chances in the tournament. Following this win, Gukesh took the solitary lead in the tournament with 10 points.
