Rohit Sharma, the captain of India’s team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup, showed the new jersey together with Tilak Varma during the break of the second ODI match against South Africa. The game took place at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur on December 2, 2025. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia and people from Adidas gave out the kits. This event started the preparations for the tournament India will host with Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
